D-type earpiece/microphone

This is the standard "D-type" earpiece/microphone that fits over the wearer's ear.

There is a small microphone with a Push To Talk button, with a spring clip to allow the microphone to be clipped to the wearer's clothing.

These simple earpiece/microphones are our most popular accessory with our hire radios. Using an earpiece means that the user will not miss an important radio message due to noisy conditions. In many situations, use of an earpiece keeps radio messages confidential to the intended recipient compared with just using the walkie-talkie with its loudspeaker.

Semi-covert in-ear earpiece/microphone

This "semi-covert" earpiece/microphone features a transparent audio tube that fits into the wearer's ear.

There is a small microphone with a Push To Talk button, with a spring clip to allow the microphone to be clipped to the wearer's clothing.

The advantage of these earpiece/microphones is that it is less obvious that the user is wearing a radio earpiece.

Lapel Speaker / Microphone

The speaker/microphone plugs into the walkie-talkie and is then clipped to the user's collar, lapel etc with a spring-clip.

Sound comes out of the speaker, whilst pressing the Push To Talk button activates the microphone. The user's walkie-talkie can be attached to a belt, with the user making use of it entirely via the speaker/microphone. 

These are often referred to "in the trade" as "parrots" (because they sit on your shoulder and squawk!)

Lightweight Radio Headset

This is our standard lightweight radio headset. It has a springy "headband" and an earpiece that goes over one ear.

There is a small boom microphone and a Push To Talk button.

These headsets are often referred to as "Madonna" or "Britney" headsets, for fairly obvious reasons!

Aircraft-Style Full Radio Headset

This is our "aircraft style" headset. It has a headband with speakers for both ears, and soft noise-blocking padding around the ear protectors, which enclose both of the wearer's ears. Often used at loud live music events, and in motorsport.

There is a boom microphone that can be positioned in front of the wearer's mouth, and a Push-To-Talk button.

These headsets are often used for camera operators filming live music events, stewards and security in front of a loud music stage, and also by people who are track-side in motorsport events.
