We will send you a couple of whichever types of radio you want, to try out for a few days around your site or premises.

Price is only £10 + VAT, which will be deducted from your actual hire invoice should you go ahead and hire from us.

Range
Our two-way radios have a range of up to a couple of miles, however this is very dependent on terrain, buildings etc. In amongst city buildings the range may only be 500 - 800m. In general, VHF radio signals will travel further than UHF and so these are a better choice for outdoor events, whereas UHF signals travel better within buildings, so UHF two-way radios are a better choice for use in or amongst large buildings.

Licence
You do not need to arrange any licence in order to hire any two-way radios from us. We have the appropriate Ofcom "radio suppliers" licence which covers the hire of two-way radio equipment within the UK , so you will be using our licence and the general VHF and UHF short-term radio hire frequencies.

Delivery
Delivery is charged at our cost. For up to 15 walkie-talkie radios, delivered to anywhere in the UK, delivery is £11. We usually use DHL for next day nationwide deliveries. You simply post the radios back to us when finished. For larger quantities, please call us for delivery options and costs. For urgent hire requirements we can usually do same-day delivery via courier in the London area. You can also save on delivery costs by collecting the hired radio equipment from our office in Kilburn, North West London.

Payment for hiring mobile radio equipment
We normally want payment via credit/debit card or cheque before hired walkie-talkies are sent out. We can accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro/Switch, Solo, Electron and American Express. We can offer credit terms to known customers and some large companies, public-sector bodies such as local councils, and some charities.
