Optional earpiece / microphone (£1.50 per week plus VAT), this useful accessory is essential if you will be using the walkie-talkies in a noisy environment to ensure that the radio users do not miss important messages due to not hearing them.
Also, in many stewarding / crowd control / security situations, the earpiece / microphone is important because it ensures privacy - people standing near the radio user cannot hear radio messages.
